Sail Date: Mar 2006

We went on a 4 night cruise out of Galveston. Embarkation was simple. We used Lighthouse cruise parking, which I HIGHLY recommend. They were helpful and waiting for us promptly when we returned.

This was my first cruise, but I went with a party of 10, and everyone else had sailed Carnival previously.

We had a large interior stateroom on deck 6 in the middle. I was so afraid that the room would be too small. The room was just fine. It was small, but it had a good feel to it. The bathroom was bigger than I thought it would be. It's bigger than the one in our RV. The most impressive thing is how well designed the room is. Lots of storage. The beds were comfortable. There was a blow dryer and safe in the room. I took my own air freshener, and I'm very glad I did because it is such a small area.
