My wife, daughter and myself sailed on the Brilliance on 3/17/06 for a 10 night Panama canal cruise and loved every minute of it! We spent 3 nights at the Loews in South Beach and for pre cruise or any stay for that matter it was the best and highly recommend it.

Embarkation: Smooth as we could of hoped for in every aspect. The Set sail pass has made the process flawless. We arrived at about 10:00 am and were on board around 11:15 and in the windjammer enjoying lunch. Rccl has improved there food 100%, not saying it was terrible before but a lot better than before. We walked around a little and checked our table for dinner in the dinning room and then made reservations for chops and then off to our stateroom.

Stateroom 1100: Being on the aft is wonderful, the views from this huge balcony were to die for. The rooms layout is nice and open and 1100 is a bit wider than most JS staterooms because of its corner aft location. There is a nice size walk-in closet and a full size tub/shower. If your doing the Canal the aft was a wonderful spot to view the process, order room service at about 6am and enjoy your morning on your balcony going through the locks.
