We are currently looking for our next cruise!! That is how much we enjoyed our first cruise on Carnivals Liberty. We traveled out of Port Everglades (FLL) the week of 3/12. No problems with the flight down or arrival.

We entered the building where we waited in a smooth moving line for about 30-45 minutes. We got our boarding passes and such, went through security and were on our way. No problems.. We located our rooms and met our room steward, Romell (never saw him again) and then went to find food. Daughter found an ice cream machine which was her best friend the rest of the cruise. We had burgers and beer. Good food and cold beer (although quite pricey with tip). We then went exploring around the ship. Heard reviews that the Liberty was hard to navigate; it was pretty easy once you got your bearings but I always got confused with front and back of ship.

Our rooms were 2319 and 2323, oceanview. Really nice rooms with plenty of space. Even with a wife who notoriously overpacks everything. The boys(teenagers) enjoyed the windows, where they would crawl up into and chill, watching the goings on outside. Saw the inside rooms when we were walking down the halls; no thanks.
