This cruise was my Bride's 5th and my 20th overall. With Carnival it was her 3rd and my 9th cruise. We actually met on the Carnival Inspiration and Honeymooned on the Carnival Pride. The Carnival Legend is identical to the Pride, so we felt very comfortable booking this trip on the Legend.

We traveled to the port by car, since we live so close, otherwise we would have flown. Parking was interesting, not enough info before hand, but there was a parking garage right next to the ship's docking area. The boarding took hardly anytime at all. Carnival had all of our information and we sort of just walked on board, all within 30 minutes of parking the car we were on board and having our first drink at the Avalon bar.

Our balcony stateroom was kept immaculate by our room Steward, Errel. He seemed to be the perfect Steward (never seen, but aways appeared when you needed him). Read more
