We just returned from the our cruise on the Triumph during Spring Break. We left from Miami and flew down the day before from Denver. We stayed at the Holiday Inn Downtown Port of Miami - $189 per night 5 people included breakfast. Great location across from the Bayside Market and easy access the next morning for Embarkation.
Embarkation was a breeze. We took a taxi over around 12:30pm and were on board in less then 30 minutes. If youve ever cruised before that was amazing. You couldnt go to your rooms until 1:30pm so we enjoyed the beginning of our food frenzy on the Lido deck.
We had booked the cheapest room and were upgraded to Deck 10 and got a room for 5. We were traveling with teenagers, would have preferred two rooms, but loved the location on Deck 10. The room was small for 5, but no big deal, we adjusted. The room was kept clean and our stewards were friendly and nice.
