This cruise was our 7th overall and 5th with Carnival. We arrived at the port about 1:00pm and were surprised by the poor condition of the port facilities. We found the check in process confusing and sorely lacking in signs or helpful personnel. The one thing on our side was that we arrived late enough that the crowds were gone. Once we were through the check in the line moved fast and we were on board by 1:30pm.

Our first impression was that this ship was beautiful. Every other ship that we have cruised on was very gaudy. The Legend does have all of the urns but other than that the decor was much more subdued than we were use to. We loved her!

The food on the Lido deck was typical buffet fare. The stand out was the deli station. We loved it, unfortunately it was also very busy and most of the time there was a line. We ate all breakfasts and lunches here. The omelet station was excellent.
