Tahitian Princess, 10-20 March 2006

This was our 3rd cruise to Tahiti on the Tahitian Princess. We did this same itinerary in Mar 03, Mar 04 and Mar 06. We absolutely LOVE Tahiti and her islands and believe that the cruise offers the most for our money. We have told many friends how great this cruise is, and four couples from San Antonio joined us.

We flew from San Antonio to LAX. We checked our bags all the way thru so making our connection in LAX was a breeze. We arrived in Papeete at 730 p.m. and thanks to Jackie (NY Lady), we had transportation waiting to take us to the Mandarin Hotel in downtown Papeete. We checked in the hotel and then walked to the roulettes down by the Tahitian Princess for a late night snack. There were about six couples staying at the Mandarin and there are mixed reviews on the hotel rooms. We were very satisfied with our room. It appeared that it had recently been renovated and was fine for one night - cost about $157.
