This was our 3rd Cruise, 2nd on the NCL Star. Last year we took the exact cruise to the Mexican Riviera. We had such a great time we returned this year. Upon returning this time, we have rebooked for next year. Next time we are bringing along another couple. Having said all of that you can probably guess that we love the Star.

When we booked this cruise Acapulco and Ixtapa were included on our itinerary. At first we were disappointed that those two ports had been changed this time. Acapulco was our least favorite port last time but we did enjoy Ixtapa. But our feeling was that we were going to get to see two different ports.

We arrived at the port at 10:30 AM. Our luggage was taken by a porter and we went to register. Because the ship didn't arrive into port until 9:00 AM we had a slight delay. After registering and receiving our boarding passes we had another hour wait but by 12:30 we were in our staterooms. This time we had a balcony cabin on the 10th deck. Once you have had a balcony it would be hard to go back to anything else. Our cabin was always clean and fresh. At night our bed was always turned down for us and we had clean towels and ice in the refrigerator.
