This was our 3rd cruise with Celebrity Cruise lines and our 1st time on Century. The past cruises with Celebrity were on Constellation and were absolutely wonderful. This time, however was the worst cruise experience ever. If this had been our 1st cruise altogether, we would not take another! (We have been on many other cruise lines).
The shore excursions were very disorganized and a huge disappointment. The 1st port (Jamaica) our excursion was cancelled but there was no information anywhere- nothing on the shore excursion board on the pier nor was there anyone there to tell us. When we inquired around, we were hastily ushered to a bus an excursion that was ½ the cost of the one we purchased. We had to wait until that evening to talk to someone about it. The weather was cool and the ocean was rough so we were delayed in leaving the port.
We were late for Grand Cayman so our shore excursion was cancelled. The weather conditions are understandable, but it was short time at this port of call and we had to wait for 3 hours to disembark with our priority disembarkment pass. We spent about 20 minutes on the island.
