Sail Date: Mar 2006

This was our 7th cruise, 4th cruise line. My wife and I arrived by air to Ft Lauderdale and took taxi to dock {$13}.Check in was very smooth-only one person in line ahead of us. Cabin staff posted at ship entrance and escorted us to our cabin.

Ship is very nice-built in 2004 and very well maintained. Cabins are very small 140 sq ft vs norm of 170 sq ft. Smallest shower I have ever seen, had to leave the curtain open to use the shower. Cabin attendants were very good -room always in order when we returned. Hardest bed I have ever tried to sleep on.

We had requested early dining-were assigned late 8:15. Food and service in the dining room left a lot to be desired. Both were below what we have become accustomed to on other cruise lines. We ate breakfast and lunch in the buffet on the 11th deck. The only drinks available without extra cost were water and coffee at lunch with orange juice added at breakfast. Ice cream was extra cost outside of the dining room.
