This was our second time cruising (unfortunately Carnival could not locate our records on our first one in 1988) with Carnival. Our cruise was from Miami to Grand Cayman then on to Ocho Rios and back to Miami. On this cruise, our daughter and her friend accompanied us, both 15 years old.

Prior to our departure, we all filled out our preboarding information on the Carnival website, and printed out our Fun Passes. We flew in from Memphis to Miami on American. Upon arrival it immediately turned very chaotic and others that were on our flight were as lost as we did not know where to get our luggage. Upon getting our luggage we were told to go down to another area and meet the person in the red and white outfit. Then we were herded out to a bus, loaded on and told wed be leaving shortly. Within 15 minutes we were finally on our way. Long story short we finally got on the bus but quite honestly I felt everything was a rush, rush, rush then sit, sit, sit&. You rushed to get nowhere at times. After participating in the transfers, Im appalled that you have to pay $24 per person.

Upon arrival to our stateroom we were very pleased with the layout but it was so hot in there. We had to call maintenance to check our air and it really never got lots better but we dealt with it and moved on. Once out on the deck we started the party up.
