This was my first cruise and I have to say this ship was simply amazing. When we were loading on the ship, the lines looked long, but time flew by so fast. Everything on the ship was more then I imagined. Every night there was a "Movie Under The Stars" where they would line up all the lawn chairs wish blankets and cousins and play pretty recent movies. Also on my cruise there were 2 formal nights. People weren't dressed up as fancy as I thought they'd all be but it was still really neat. The only dining room my crew and I would go to was the Michelangelo. The food there was excellent. If they have it, I do recommend trying the Pina Colada cold soup. So good. Other then that, we spent most of our time in the 24 hour buffet. All the food in there was so good and the crew people were extremely nice and friendly. We miss them so much! They were like our second family on that ship. The ship it self had everything you could ask for. There's a workout area, many choices of lounges, comedy night, two theater areas, broadway show, shopping area, internet (costs money), a variety of pools, and even those little chocolates on your pillows. The ship never seemed crowded unless you got into some popular areas like when their having their jewelry sale in the grand plaza. Also, on the days when its solid sailing on the sea and the gorgeous sunshine is out, it is kind of hard to get a lawn chair so its better to wake up around 8 if your planning on laying in the sun all day. Oh- and please don't save your lawn chairs, it causes a lot of arguments and its just not very nice. Plus, the crew people will just move your stuff so I don't recommend leaving anything there. All in all the ship was amazing. My friend Margie and I created a ton of memories on it and I'm sure we annoyed a bunch of people, but at the same time made them laugh. Everyone was extremely friendly and I know we'll be going on another Grand Princess cruise again. I highly recommend this ship to anyone that wants to have some fun!

Some items you may wanna bring:

Power strip. Extra hangers. Small extension cord. A Shoe holder thing that hangs up in the closet. Hair dryer (they do have one but I didn't think it was strong enough)
