We took this cruise because it was a first for us to be able to leave out of Boston. This was my 6th cruise, the first on RCI and I am sold on this line!! Our other cruises were with Carnival (3) Princess (1) and NCL (1).

The trip going over to Bermuda from Boston was more than a little rough. We had 100+ mph winds and 35' seas. Many people were very sick, but the captain and crew did everything in their power to make people as comfortable as possible. This storm was not predicted in any way. Luckily it only lasted 24 hours and then it was smooth sailing from there on.

The Jewel is appropriately named. She is just gorgeous, with spacious public rooms, magnificent art, beautiful pools, and an outstanding spa.
