Although this was our first cruise, and we were expecting a super vacation from the beginning, we were even more thrilled than we had anticipated. This ship is marvelous. The crew was excellent, the food was always good, and more often that not, was absolutely great. Le Bistro was a fantastic dining experience, and even with the additional cover charge, was well worth the experience. Teppenyaki was likewise a treat. We often had lunch, when we were not ashore, at the Sky High Bar. The burgers, hot dogs, fries, and other treats (such as cajun shrimp one day)were always freshly prepared and cooked the way we wanted. The cook was very pleasant and always put a little extra on our plates. Plus, it was never overly crowded there like the Garden Cafe often was.

Although we encountered some bad weather the last two days of the cruise and didn't get to go to Grand Stirrup Cay (with 12-20 foot seas it was impractical to try to tender in), the Captain and crew did their best to keep us entertained (including an open bar on Saturday afternoon - don't get excited, this isn't a normal occurrence).

Although we were somewhat disappointed by Roatan, it was obvious that this is a port call in the development stages. The locals tried hard to please us and our guide was excellent - there just isn't a whole lot there yet in the way of entertainment. Grand Cayman and Jamaica were terrific, with lots to see, lots to do, and plenty of places to spend money!
