This was our first cruise on Carnival. We decided to go with Carnival because we were bringing the kids and they supposedly had a good kid program. Overall, we did have a good time but you have to have an open mind to all of the experiences you'll face on the ship. I'll elaborate.

EMBARKATION: No real problems, Carnival picked us up at Orlando (MCO) Airport right on time. They have that portion of the trip down to a science. The check-in was about 45 minutes. The KEY is to pre-register online before you get to the check in. I think it saved us 30 minutes.

CABIN: The cabin was clean and nice enough. We knew we weren't in for anything top of the line so we weren't disappointed. The roomkeeper was exceptional, we tipped him well. Read more
