We left Portland, Maine, in below zero weather at 6 A.M. in the morning on Delta. There were 14 of us. We arrived in West Palm Beach right on time and Carnival bussed us to the ship Liberty in Fort Lauderdale around 2:30 and practically walked right on to the ship.

The ship is beautiful. I have been on 36 cruises on all different lines and this was one of the best I have been on. We had 7 balcony cabins in a row and we opened the doors between each so we had one long balcony.

The weather was great! We were lucky. We had only one terrible day of rocking and rolling and boy did the cabin squeak and creak. I really was a bit intimidated. We loved sitting by the pool, however, we never could find deck chairs but we made the best of it.
