Sail Date: Dec 2005

We got to the port around 1330 on Dec. 10. Once going thru security we headed up to the second floor. I was kind of confusing at first because we did not know which line we were suppose to stand in. Finally a castmember came around to help everyone. The wait was long but the check in was very quick. Note to everyone only one member of your party needs to check in. If you have kids one parent can check in the kids for their daily activities on the ship while the other one checks in for the cruise.

Once we got on the ship everything was excellent. Our room was spacious, clean and with a very large porthole. I love the split bathrooms. It was very practical and the soap and shampoos smelled great. Since we got to our room late we just had a quick snack up on the top deck. I thought if the food tasted good up here I could not wait to have dinner later on in the evening. I love the rotation of dining rooms every night. The first three nights everyone has the same menu. The rest of the cruise each dining room had different menus from the other restaurants. The food was great. You can have as many appetizers, entrees and desserts as you want. My wife requested gingerbread cookies which was not on the menu. They said they would try but it would have to wait till the next day. We had great tablemates. We just bonded altogether on the first nite. Having great people at our table made the cruise and dining excellent. Our server and his assistant were great. Whatever we needed we got. They got my wife her special gingerbread cookies every night. She was very happy.

We were so busy every day. So many things to do such as tequila tasting and martini tasting ($15 fee per person). It was worth it and more. There was always few extras at the end. There were other activities such as the galley tour, art auction cooking classes and bingo. Loved all the activities.
