The ports on this cruise are the entire reason to go. We stayed a night in San Juan before embarking. I was glad we did this. Puerto Rico would be a nice place to visit some time.

We got on the Destiny just after noon on Sunday, dropped our things in our room (two of our bags had already arrived), and we went into Old San Juan. All of us enjoyed San Juan and we wished we had spent more time there. Sunday night the dining room food was not memorable (not bad, not good).

Monday we were in St. Thomas. We took the ferry to St. John and snorkeled at Trunk Bay beautiful! In the afternoon we left enough time to hire a taxi driver to take us to some sights in St. Thomas. This was a very good day. Monday night the food was again not memorable (not good). The service, however was excellent. We had also discovered by this time that the overall staff is excellent. The music on the Lido was excellent the entire cruise.
