We just got back from our cruise to Hawaii. on NCL POA. We purchased the air and land package. We were very happy with Hawaiian Air. the Shuttle greeter was at our gate to meet us. We retrieved our baggage and went out side to wait for our shuttle. We were apparently not on their manifest and had to wait about 45 minutes and 6 shuttles later to get to the ship.

Aloha tower was very organized with our baggage and check in process we are Latitudes members and it was a snap to get on board they also gave a beautiful lei that was fresh until the last day of the cruise. We ate at the Aloha Cafe and may I say the servers were so helpful and friendly. We had a great time asking them about themselves and where they came from they are an all US crew and that was so nice for communication purposes. This was my 8th cruise and we have been on 4 other lines. So I feel like I'm not a novice toward cruising. I think a lot of the bad reviews are from people who are afraid to ask for help and assistance from the crew.

We had an obstructed view cabin with the life boat in front and we were able to see the ocean including the humpback whales that were a highlight of this Feb trip. We at in all the restaurants. The tepanyaki was a fun Benihana type meal. Lazy J had great steaks. The little Italy was fun and didn't have a cover charge we ate in the skyline dining and they all ways found us an intimate table for 2. We had a great time talking with the other table and also felt like we didn't have to talk with any one if we didn't want to. My least fav restaurant was Jeffersons Bistro.
