My parents and I sailed on the beautiful Legend of the Seas from Feb 4-11. We found boarding to be orderly. My dad was in a wheelchair and he was treated great. We had to wait 30 min in their lovely lounge but once boarding began we were ushered aboard quickly and taken directly to the main dining room for a great buffet lunch. We got in our junior suite around 130. It was a nice sized room with a queen and a double sofa, two chairs, lots of closet space and storage and a large balcony. We had a great cabin steward. Our only complaint was the bathtub had a high side and was impossible for mom and dad to enter. If you were very tall I think you would have hit your head on the ceiling.
The ship is lovely and decorated with lots of class and style. The center atrium has all the main spots on various floors and is very convenient. The dining room is two floor and lovely. We found the staff- all of them from officers to mechanics- to be friendly, helpful and always wanting to smile and give you assistance. Our waiters were great and all bar people courteous but not annoying.
The first night my dad fell in the cabin due to rough seas and had to have 4 stitches. The on board Swedish doctor and his staff were competent and very kind. They gave Dad excellent treatment and checked up on him the next day. He was at dinner that night...
