Traveled with children

This was our first cruise. I traveled with my husband and 2 children ages 3 and 13. We went to counsel, Mexico. We are from Tampa so getting to the ship was a breeze. The nightmares I heard about boarding, not true! We were in our room in less then 10 minutes. The ship does show her age but is still quite beautiful. Our junior suite was fine. The beds were comfortable but there was a smell in the bathroom. I would recommend bringing an air freshener. We had a balcony, which I'm not sure was worth the money, because most of the time all you see is the water.

When it comes to the food I thought it was very good. Our waiters were wonderful. My husband said he tried the pizza and hot dogs at the Solarium cafe and it was not good.

counsel was ok. My son and I got off the ship and went shopping at the port. There is nothing but expensive jewelry stores.
