This being my first cruise ever, I was very concerned that I would be seasick as I suffered from that my entire life, I cant even watch video games without getting dizzy! I got patches from the doctor and put it on the day before the cruise, as the directions stated. By 3am the night before the cruise, I felt like I had drunk a bottle of vodka, and at 6am, I peeled the stupid patch off.

We get on the ship and as you all know, it was very cold, so our first night consisted of just finding things and eating at the buffet. We didnt know we had a table in the dining room just for us! We thought the buffet was it, so we were disappointed.

Since it was cold, the kids had a great time sitting in the hot tub on the Lido Deck watching a movie. There were lots of people who did that too. The sea was rough that night due to all the storms up north and I felt sick from a combination of that and residual patch nausea. It helped me to look out of the window in my cabin and at about 9pm, I laid down and fell asleep for the night. The next morning, I felt fine! No sickness, no nausea and the sea was fairly calm. Yea!
