We just returned from our 7 day cruise aboard the 'Pride of America'. We call ourselves the Sip And Sailors and are from L.A. In real terms for those that don't know where LA is, it is lower Arkansas.
This is our 10th cruise in 9 years aboard many different lines, mostly in the Caribbean. Before we left I made the mistake of reading the reviews and wondered what i had gotten into. I went into this with a positive attitude and was hoping for the best. We as a group have never had a bad cruise but some have been better than others. You only get out of a cruise what you put into one.
We arrived into Honolulu on the 4th and & proceeded to the ship at 2:15pm ,the process of boarding the ship was painless and very quick. One thing to remember is do not try get a bottle of whiskey on board as they will find it, IF LEFT IN ORIGINAL BOTTLE, A hint is try a mouthwash or cough syrup bottle. You will get a call just before muster stating your luggage has been confiscated and report to the 3rd floor to claim your luggage, but don't worry you get the whiskey back Fri. evening at 6:30pm.
