Like many others, we were very concerned about the number of negatives reviews concerning this cruise line and this particular ship. If we had read these prior to our booking we may not have purchased this cruise at all. Luckily our experience was much better than expected.

We noticed no problems at all with cleanliness or with bad service. In fact, with only one or two exceptions, every shipboard employee we talked to was very friendly.

Overall, we are not sorry we took this cruise. This is not to say that this cruise line does not have problems. They do, and some of them are inexcusable. The first problem was that we never received our initial package of documents and luggage tags. When we called them they said they sent our package to the dock because there wasnt enough time to send it directly to us. This was in spite of the fact that we had booked this cruise about a month in advance. They also claimed that the one week remaining was not enough time to Fed Ex this material to us. Because of this we had to spend time on the phone trying to find out about loading procedures, luggage, excursions and dining arrangements. The fact that different people gave different answers to our questions didnt help. Not surprisingly, their staff at the dock and on the ship had no idea where our packages ended up.
