These are just a few observations of my recent cruise on Carnival's Miracle....

I won't go into the decor of the ship.... it isn't as "showy" as other Carnival ships but it is not as well thought out and put together. They were going for a "book" theme and instead I came away with comic books, Renaissance angel themes (including the infamous naked paintings, Capt. Horatio, and the pink grapes that match nothing at all.

1. Tampa is a very easy port but hotels are hit or miss. We found out that the Residence Inn (Airport) would allow us to leave our car there all week for no additional charge. We decided against it and went for the Valet Parking at the Dock. For an additional $12 ($84 in total), we left our vehicle at the Terminal's Valet. Picking it up was more tricky but all in all, probably a ok deal vs. taking a cab.
