This was me and my wife's third cruise (second with NCL, Celebrity in early 2005)and first trip to Hawaii. I must say that I was quite nervous having read all of the cruise critic reviews on POA. I have to say that for the most part, we enjoyed our time in Hawaii tremendously.
Embarkation: A complete breeze. We arrived at the Pier at 12:30 pm and were on the boat by 1:00 pm. Our rooms were ready by the time we boarded and we were able to drop our carry-on luggage off before we had a nice lunch at the Aloha Cafe.
Cabin: We were very happy with our cabin. This was our first balcony and it was well worth the money. The bathroom/shower was very small but I made out ok and am 6'4" tall. Our room steward kept the room clean and stocked with all the necessary supplies. The bed was extremely comfortable and we slept well the whole cruise.
