Our first cruise and we had an excellent time. Our tour was Classic Southern which stopped at Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua, St. Maarten, and St. Thomas.

The Golden is a very beautiful ship. We were very happy with our Balcony room on the Baja 724 and had plenty of storage for all our clothes. Our cabin steward, Willy was great and provided us 4 beach towels and 4 towels, hand, face and body and bath mats each day, since he knew we were doing excursions and pool and beach activities, and would shower more than once a day. He brought us extra hangers and pillows and our room was serviced two or three times each day and bathrobes and fruit for the room. We tipped will extra, since he deserved it.

The entertainment was typical resort type, good to kill time. The casino was a fun place to go and lose money and people watch. The pools were great, fresh water and never very crowded. There are four and at least two hot tubs at each pool area, some had four hot tubs. Drinks were tasty, $3.50-6.50 plus 15% gratuity.
