The Jewel is such a beautiful ship--I'd be back onboard right now if I could! Because so many other reviews go into great detail, I'll keep things as brief as possible.

Hello to our tablemates at table 474. It was great meeting you--you made our dinner time so much more enjoyable!

Boarding was a breeze. We had to check out of our overnight hotel by 11 a.m. so we just called a taxi and headed to the port. Be sure to have a photo ID to show the guard at the gate or they won't let you on the property. We had checked in online so we had our paperwork already completed which made things really easy. Once onboard, they have an area to check your carry-on bag so you don't have to take it with you to the Windjammer for lunch. I had a few extra of the bag tags so I just put those on although they had blank ones to put your stateroom # on. By the time we went to our room, the carry bags were already inside. Nice feature!
