A little about us. Were in our early forties with 3 kids that we left with their grandparents, like to have fun and previously worked in the airline industry. This was our 6th cruise on RCCL.

Embarkation in Tampa, Florida was a breeze. Took all of 10 minutes. Cruise port is easy in/out. We boarded the ship at 12:30. Our friends that we were cruising with arrived early and boarded at 11:00. We wish we could have since we live in the Tampa Bay area, but we had kids to hand off to the grandparents.

We asked about being upgraded to a different cabin type (we booked an outside), but we always seem to get the same answer that the ship is full. Our person who checked us in told us that we were in a suite, but we didnt buy it because we already knew where our cabin was located. Just to be sure, we asked her to tell us the cabin number and we knew that it was a large outside, so she said it was a mini-suite, still wrong. This must have been her first day on the job! Well leave her name out of the review.
