Sail Date: Jan 2006

This was my 6th time on Carnival. I sailed with my family on our annual January cruise. We decided to go with the Legend because of the great deal that was being offered. What a wonderful trip.

Embarkation: Having this be my 6th time on Carnival, I usually dread the embarkation process. However, this would not be the case this time. Once we arrived at the pier via taxi, we couldn't move fast enough to get on board. We never waited in line!!!! In previous time's with Carnival, we would estimate at least an hour to get on board. This time it was only 20 minutes. Amazing!!!! Hopefully Carnival sticks with whatever method they used for future embarkations!!

Public rooms: We were warned by our travel agent that the first thing we'd see once onboard would be the large silver urns in the lobby. Well it was very clear!!! YIKES!!! We finally got used to it after two days. Satchmo's was beautiful, looked just like Key West! Truffles dining room, Follie's theater & the casino were also very nice. Overall a beautiful ship(which is rare with Carnival).
