This was our 16th cruise with Princess and by far the best. Embarkation was a breeze...even in Los Angeles. A nice surprise! The cabin was clean and well stocked when we arrived and our room steward was there to greet us. Our steward (Karn) was amazing. Invisible but attentive. We have had stewards that feel the need to phone us when the do not disturb sign is on the door but Karn was "stealth". Never knocked to ask when we were leaving, just magically appeared when we left. The room was always clean when we returned.

Ten days at sea can be a long time for some, however, we found that there was always something to do and the sea days flew by.

We only took one Princess shore tour and rented a car on the other islands. The one tour we did take was whale watching on Maui and it was grand. We actually had four whales "performing" for us for an hour or more.
