We just got back from a wonderful cruise aboard the Carnival Inspiration. This was our 3rd cruise...all on Carnival. Before we left, I devoured the "Reviews" on the cruise ships...and after about the 3rd review that was lower than the 5 little fish, I decided to not read anymore Under 5! I began to realize that even if Jesus Christ himself met them at the door and cleaned their room and served them their meals, they would still not be happy.

Our embarkation was quick and flawless. We got there early, boarded early and just began to enjoy the ship. Of course, there was food in the buffet. Is this gourmet type food...no! Are you paying gourmet prices?...no. Is the food great...yes. From the cabin stewards to the waiters, and the people who just cleaned, everyone was kind, out-going, friendly and ready to do anything that they could for you. I was amazed after reading some of the pouty reviews, that the drinks were not that expensive, the soft drinks were not that expensive. Sure if you stay at Motel 6, and pack your own lunches on vacations...it looks expensive, but it is not. Overall this is a great vacation.

I had read reviews before about getting your shore excursion online before the trip, so we did. We were glad we did, because many of them were sold out on the ship. We went to Playa Mia Beach Deluxe, and it was a great time. We had our kids with us, and they had a blast there.
