A very pleasant surprise. We have recently sailed with NCL, NCL America, HA, Princess and RCL. My husband previously sailed with Carnival a couple times. This cruise ranked close to Princess, our favorite and way above NCL America, our least favorite.
Embarkation was very quick; we were on the ship 15 min. after arriving at the port. Even the line for pictures was short. But try to get there early, we had to park at a distant garage at the port. I understand they let passengers on this ship almost two hours before the official boarding time. The morning we left we noticed our cabin steward was dripping in sweat trying to get all his cabins ready for the next passengers, due to arrive just two hours later.
The cabin, and esp. the balcony, was spacious. At least 1/3 larger than NCL America. The steward was good and the tips were quite reasonable so we def. needed to leave him a little extra.
