Wow. This was my first cruise and I am sold! Leaving Galveston was a little unpleasant since we had to wait 2.5 hours outside in the cold to get checked in for the cruise but by the next day, I had completely gotten over that experience. (The port of Galveston was unusually busy since 3 ships were embarking passengers to full capacity that day).

Anyway, the ship itself was spectacular. I really didn't know what to expect, but I was thoroughly impressed and thrilled with the crew and the amenities. I travelled with 2 friends and we tried to experience it all. The casino was a lot of fun and we actually won some money. The gym was great and we had a chance to work out 4 of the 6 days. We even took advantage of the jogging track. The Movies Under the Stars is a must. By far, that was one of my favorite memories.

Formal nights were funs since you get a chance to get all dolled up and even have some formal portraits taken. (You get to choose which ones you would like to keep). We played Bingo almost every day and went to a good number of shows. The comedian they had on board was hysterical. His name was Rollin' Jay Moore and he was by far, one of the funniest comedians I have ever heard.
