My husband, 17 year old daughter and I just returned from the Millennium 6 night cruise out of Ft. Lauderdale on 12/18/05. We had a wonderful time. I was a little worried after reading some of the problems from the 2 night cruise a few weeks ago, but we had none of the problems that seemed to plague that trip.

We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale a day early and stayed at the Sheraton Yankee Clipper. The hotel is still recovering from the hurricanes of last summer, but the building we stayed in had been redone and was clean and comfortable for the night. No problems with transfers from the airport or checking in to the hotel. Celebrity had everything arranged even though we changed our travel plans at the last minute.

Our transfer to the ship the next day was painless. The shuttle picked us up at the hotel and took us to the ship. After we got off the shuttle they had us check and make sure that all of our bags had the room tags and then sent us on our way to check in. Check in took less than 15 minutes from the time we walked in the door, through security and through the CC check in line. We were on the ship and sipping champagne before we knew it.
