Bottom line - We loved our trip! We came down the day before and stayed at the Holiday Inn Port of Miami. Worked out fine - not deluxe of course, but clean and well located. Bayside marketplace is good for a little shopping, etc. Cafe con Leche makes great sandwiches, etc.

Embarkation was fine - went quickly and our cabin was ready at noon when we came on board. Our cabin steward Shurma was the BEST! She was on her way home before coming back to get on to the Freedom of the Seas. So if you sail that ship and end up with Shurma - you're in for a treat! We had an inside cabin - 8337. Great location. Near aft elevators and stairwell - easy access to the Promenade and Deck 11 - where we spent most of our time.

Our asst waiter Daniel and waiter Suresh were a wonderful team. They read us well and were quick to meet all of our needs without being over the top. We were sad to leave them.
