We just finished this cruise yesterday. The cabins are very small, but the ship is newly refurbished and rather attractive in many of the public areas. It was obvious that NCL is trying to stretch every dollar and make/save extra money with many of their basic services. For example a gratuity is automatically added to every drink and dinner invoice. If you want to purchase a soft drink card (which costs $40.00 for unlimited Coke products during the week) an additional $6.00 tip was added.

There are several speciality restaurants which charge an extra fee plus gratuity to dine there. Reservations are needed for most restaurants and it was quite common to be told that that the next table was not available for 1-2 hours later yet there were 25-30 tables empty. The Versailles restaurant is the best "free" and hassle free cruise quality dining room on the ship. I wished we had found it the first day instead of the last nite.

The port stops were changed 2 weeks before we left due to a part missing on the ship which restricted the top speed of the ship to 20 knots as opposed to the normal 25 knots. A $50.00 per person credit was given for compensation however 2 of the ports were disappointing.
