We had an EXCELLENT vacation !!! I am going to give you lots of facts about the ship/crew (some good, some not so good_, but please read them and keep in mind that we had a wonderful time on this vacation - after all it is Hawaii !!

For the most part, we LOVED the American crew. It was great being able to talk to everyone and hear their stories, where they are from, etc. We found most of the crew was extremely friendly and helpful. Yes we came across a few with attitudes, but honestly we enjoyed the american crew sooo much (and we thought we wouldn't so that was pleasant surprise).

That said there definitely is a shortage in crew (we spoke to many officials on board and were told the ship is having a hard time keeping staff). So, in some places, it is clear that the service is simply not there. Example: main restaurants. We waited over an hour to get seated one night and then it took almost 3 hours to eat. The waiter was nice and was working very hard, but he was one guy doing the work of 3 people (waiter, bus buy, and bar staff). He was bringing the food, clearing the plates, trying to refill drinks and water glasses- and it was SLOW!!! We decided to go to specialty restaurants after that and we had wonderful experiences in those.
