I am a travel agent, who booked the Enchantment of the Seas for the Nov. 21, 2005 sailing. There were a total of 10 family members, who I travelled with. We booked 3 Category H cabins, which are oceanview, and my Mother and Aunt booked a Category D1 balcony. My cabin consisted of myself, husband, and two children. Our cabin became crowded at times, but we were not in it very often. My kids had pullman beds, and thought those were great. Our cabin was in the original section of the ship, and you could tell a definite difference in comparison to the newly added cabins (more on that later). I was, however, impressed with the amount of storage space, cupboards, and drawers in the cabin. Our cabin attendant, Oscar, was very attentive, and always had a smile on his face.

My Mother and Aunt were fortunate enough to have gotten one of the newly added cabins since the stretching of the ship. Their cabin was spacious and modernly decorated. They had one of two cabins with revolving balcony doors. Which means, you could have the normal balcony space, or you could include the cabin sitting area as additional balcony space. The controls for the door were electronic push buttons. This was a very nice new touch to the room. The sitting area had a nice hardwood floor, whereas, the rest of the cabin was carpeted. The TV in the room was a nice flat panel. They should consider putting them in the rest of the cabins. The shower had a nice glass door, compared to our shower curtain. As mentioned before it is a noticeable difference between brand new cabin, as opposed to been there for a while. The ship itself was very nice. I enjoyed the quaintness of it. It is smaller than some of Royal Caribbean's more popular ships.

It was easy to become familiar with the ship layout. The new center atrium area is beautiful with glass elevators, and comfortable chairs. Also located midship is the main dining room, My Fair Lady. Unfortunately, our small group of 10 were not able to get a large table together, but we were seated next to each other. The dining rooms was comfortable, and our Waiter, Rex, was very entertaining.
