I do not have a reference point because this was my first cruise. The bar has been set very high for future cruises. Everything about my experience was exceptional. Our stewardess seemed to know when we left the room and would turn down the beds. Everyone had a smile and a good morning/afternoon/evening.

Our head waiter and assistants made sure we did not go hungry or thirsty. Very friendly and efficient. The menu was varied and very good. The dining area was very richly decorated. The 9th deck buffet was very handy when you felt like a more casual breakfast or quick lunch. Pretty tasty food there as well.

Our cabin was small but larger than I expected. I would highly recommend a balcony room, I spent several hours watching the ocean go by and sunrises explode in the east. The shore excursions were well planned. When tendering onto an island, there were plenty of boats and seats to keep the lines moving. The destinations were great, with the possible exception of Cozumel (thanks to a few hurricanes). The rest were unforgettable.
