Traveled with children

After reading all of the negative things in past reviews, I was somewhat reserved about the decision I made for our family to take a cruise for Thanksgiving. Let me just say this ... A cruise seems to me what you and your family make it. In our experience we had a blast!

My wife and I traveled with our 2 children (ages 3, 4). Our kids loved Camp Carnival. My wife and I were very impressed with the quality and care given to our children in the program. They did all kinds of arts and crafts, plus a variety of games. The camp makes sure your are wearing your beeper when you check them in and only the person checking the kids in can pick them up (age group 2-5 years). Camp Carnival allowed my wife and I to have some alone time, while making sure the kids were having fun also. I can't say enough good things about Camp Carnival.

We had a suite and the room was great. Our cabin steward (Clinton) went above and beyond in taking care of our family. The rest of the ship was very nice, and yes there are a lot of "colorful" art, but we didn't make a big deal about it with our kids. We enjoyed all of our meals and ate at the Mermaid Grill for Breakfast and Lunch.
