We cruised the Liberty on its 6 day Western Caribbean itinerary the week of 11/20.

The Liberty is a beautiful new ship, and we truly enjoyed exploring it. This ship is wonderful, and we really enjoyed our cruise in spite of a few problems. I bet given a few weeks the problems I mention will be worked out.....this is a new ship and itinerary.

THINGS WE LIKED- 1) The new deck area with drive-in size movie screen (Seaside Theatre). It's awesome with stadium like lounge chairs. 2) The Venetian palace is a 3 deck lounge. It is really outstanding with state of the art a/v. We really liked that they could broadcast CNN on two drop down screens on each side of the stage and could show the bingo #s on those same screens. 3) The Silver Olympian Dining Room at the rear of the ship has a great view behind the ship. The menu is awesome and the waiters on this ship really are some of the best. The dining room entertainment was good as well. 4) Costa Maya-what a pleasant stop in place of Cozumel...try Bandito's...it has a bar with a pool and beach.....it was very nice and the entertainment was good. 5) Our room steward, Oswald, was super..... 6) Emile's on Lido-nice casual food....pizza (24 hours), deli sandwiches (the grilled Reuben was very good), and try the chinese. 7) Turkey and dressing for Thanksgiving day dinner in the dining room.
