We were on the Carnival Pride out of Long Beach on Nov 13th. We had a little problem at the airport as no one from Carnival was there to meet us and we had paid for transportation. After an hour wait we were finally picked up. Lines moved swiftly when we got to the ship, no problems here.
The ship is very lovely. The artwork that decorates it is beautiful and tasteful.
Room size was more than adequate. Had more storage area than we needed.
The food was perhaps not as elegant as I have seen on ships but still terrific. Had a great waiter staff. Shows were terrific. We saw all of them and saw the Wonders of the world show twice.
Only major complaint here was that bingo was always scheduled before a show so to get a good seat you had to waste your time sitting through bingo. There is a new piano bar player. He was probably the worst one we have ever seen on a ship. He would ask for requests but when people requested he would either state he didn't know it or he didn't like it so he wouldn't play it. We had lots of fun playing trivia games and won 8 medals.
Ports were great. In PV we did the Yelapa beach excursion. Great snorkeling...wonderful yacht. Highly recommend it. In Maz. we were with Frank. It was just ok. He did not take us to the divers. In Cabo...no need to book a snorkeling excursion...for $10 you can have a tour of area and be dropped at Lover's beach - Great snorkeling here. Only thing to beware - you must be physically fit -hard to climb back on the boat from the beach.
It was a great ship and we had a great time!
