Norwegian Sun 10/23/2005 - 10/30/2005

This is our eighth cruise, our third on NCL, and our first on NCL Sun. We are an active, professional couple in our mid-thirties, cruising for the first time with our son, who was 15 months old at the time of the cruise. We were traveling with a group of family & friends which totaled 8 adults, plus our son.

As a preamble to this review, this cruise was originally a four port/two sea day cruise leaving out of New Orleans. After Hurricane Katrina, the port was changed to Houston and one of our port days (Playa Del Carmen) was shortened to only a two hour stay on the same port day as Cozumel. NCL gave a $50 per person ($100 max per cabin) credit for these changes.
