We just got back from our first cruise and it was fabulous. Starting with the check-in. Even with all the people waiting in line, the process was very smooth and quick. Went to the Lido for the buffet while our room was getting cleaned and we were in awe in the selection of food and with how friendly the crew was. When we got to our stateroom,we discovered a bottle of champagne on ice with a note wishing me a happy birthday that my wife had planned. What a way to start a cruise, drinking champagne on our balcony. What's great about a balcony is when waking up in the morning and walking onto the balcony and ship is approaching a new port. What a way to wake up.

Half Moon Cay was beautiful and the barbecue on the island was great. St. Thomas and Tortola were also beautiful. To show how much the Captain cares about his passengers, two hours after we left Tortola, the captain announced that there was a medical emergency and that the passenger needed hospital care. We turned around and headed back to Tortola. We were flying. Within ten minutes after docking, the passenger was on the ambulance. Thinking we would lose time spent in Nassau, somehow the Captain got us there earlier than planned. We were impressed.

The food was great in both dining rooms and the Lido. The bartenders didn't skimp on the liquor when making drinks. The ship was laid out very well with a full length walking track. Swimming pools were very small though. Good variety of shows and activities. Plenty of music. Rooms were cleaned twice a day. But I can't say enough about how friendly the crew was.
