Journal of the Cheren's 12 day cruise on the Carnival Liberty

October 08, 2005 -- October 25, 2005

Our first day was mixed with some ok things and some great things. We drove from Rock Hill to the Columbia Airport for the first leg of our journey, which started on October 8th. The flight from Columbia to Cincinnati was ok, it was in a 48 passenger Comair with one flight attendant. Then we boarded Air France in Cincinnati and were in Business Class and the service was very good. Di handed out the sleeping pills and we both went to sleep after a nice dinner. Di had Tournedos of beef and I had Grouper. We both sucked up glasses of different kinds of wine (naturally it was all in the interest of wine tasting). We landed in Paris and we experienced a really messed up airport, but we had plenty of time between flights. We then realized that they really got you by the short hairs when you wanted something to eat.
