This was our 11th cruise and had booked it as an incentive trip for my faithful and overworked employees. A cheap weekender sort of close to home (2 hour flight). I was a bit cautious after reading lukewarm reviews but turned out to be a great time and value.

Embarkation. We landed at LAX at 1:15pm and prearranged a private stretch limo for 8 of us for 178 r/t. Arrived at 2 pm, and took about 40 minutes to get on the ship. Long Beach is better than San Pedro! The cityscape, harbor, etc.

Cabin. We had booked the cheapest, smallest cabin for the 3 days, and were pleasantly surprised that it was bigger than we thought it would be. R 50-52-54 were some of our groups. Had samples of razors, gum, shampoo, etc. Only one 110 outlet (made it tough to charge 2 phones at once).. plus one in the bathroom that only worked if the light was on. Big shower, lots of hot water, shampoo and soap in big dispensers, lots of hooks and rods and towels.
