Just returned from a 10 day cruise on the Sun Princess out of Ft. Lauderdale. The ship itself was in need of sprucing up, they were constantly painting, banging and repairing the ship at all times of the day, Carpets were very worn and the railings around the pool (deck 14) were replaced by yellow caution tape for most of the days while they revarnished them, which made for a crappy look for pictures on the ship, needless to say dangerous in spots.
The ship was at least an hour late to every port and we had to leave the last port an hour early to head back to Ft. Lauderdale, although no one knew what difference leaving an hour made in sailing home.
The cabins were a decent size but very small showers! You had $10.00 a day added to your ship board account for tips so the crew didn't really go the extra mile because they knew what they were receiving already.
