This was a repeat cruise for us - we sailed the Zuiderdam on the same itinerary in June 2004. Some things change, some things don't...

Embarkation: Generally painless. Due to early arrival by our pre booked shuttle we arrived at the terminal about ten minutes before it opened. Even so we were about 100th or so in the queue. The doors opened precisely as advertised at 11:00AM. Twenty minutes later we were processed, through security and the obligatory embarkation photo and on board. Since we knew our room would not be ready we checked our carry on and headed to the Lido. Read more
