INCREDIBLE!! That is the only word I could seem to use all week. We were a little worried about Wilma, so we flew into FLL on friday instead of saturday. We spent the night at the AmeriSuites in FLL (highly recommend). They were great about a last minute booking and their transport to the ship was good, if a little slow as we had to wait for the second van.

This was our first cruise, and I will definitely be sailing again. I would do Princess again (probably will always be a favorite, but only time will tell). CB is a beautiful ship. The staff was always friendly and helpful. The few problems we noted with cleanliness or maintenance were always taken care of immediately. One gentleman had apparently tripped over a strip between carpet & tiling... within moments the crew had the area cordoned off and were effecting repairs (we happened upon this right after it occurred). The restrooms were ALWAYS sparkling clean, plenty of tissue and soap. We never experienced a sticky table, or a spill on the floors. I never saw trash on the floors, it was amazing how clean they can keep this ship with 3000+ people roaming about.

Embarkation was easier than I expected, tho it did take us about an hour from our arrival to actually stepping on board the ship. Anyone who was not an American citizen was pulled out of line for special immigration check in, and they actually managed to get boarded first. All in all embarkation was not a bad experience, especially for someone who didn't have a clue what was going on or what to do. We truly enjoyed chatting with folks in line and getting a start on becoming acquainted with our fellow cruisers. Our cabin was ready and waiting for us when we boarded (approximately 12:30), and our luggage was delivered pretty quickly... like right after were arrived and were checking things out. Read more
